Gwajo-gwajo Congratulates Masari as He Chairs TETFUND Board

The Special Adviser to Katsina State Governor on Political Matters, Alhaji Ya'u Umar Gwajo-gwajo has congratulated the immediate past governor of the state, Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari on his appointment as Chairman of the Governing Board of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND).

In a statement made available to newsmen in Katsina, Alhaji Ya'u Gwajo-gwajo described the appointment as well-deserved considering Aminu Bello Masari's passion for the development of the education sector.

He recalled that as Katsina State governor, Masari accorded priority to education which has resulted in massive infrastructural development at the primary, secondary and tertiary education levels.

Gwajo-gwajo explained that during the eight years of the Masari administration he carried out dozens of capital projects in the four Katsina State government-owned tertiary institutions which has improved the learning environment in the institutions.

maintained that the appointment of Masari to chair the Governing Board of TETFUND indicates President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's commitment to enhancing the quality of tertiary education in the country.

He also noted that Masari has the knowledge, experience and leadership skills required to reposition the agency for greater impact on the tertiary education sub-sector.

He urged the management and staff of the fund as well as other stakeholders in the tertiary education sector to give maximum cooperation to Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari to succeed in his new task.
